About

Jess grew up in an artistic family where she learned to love the
arts and nature. Weekend trips to the lake as a kid left a lasting
impression. The beach is still her happy place, and one of her
creative inspirations, along with nature, nostalgia and music.

Her artwork is abstract mixed media and collage, with many
layers, textures, colours, and found vintage items. She tries to
evoke emotion and nostalgia in her work. Once a wedding and
portrait photographer, her camera and creative eye now capture
the beauty and colour palettes of nature and other interesting
things rather than people.

Jess has a diploma in fashion merchandising, and in colour
consulting, and currently owns a dress boutique and event decor
business .
